Seven Sisters Community Development Group is seeking a Virtual Administrative Assistant!

Position: Virtual Administrative Assistant

Hours: Part-time

Location: Remote

The Virtual Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support for the Seven Sisters team. Seven Sisters Community Development Group, LLC (Seven Sisters) is a small, women- and 50% Indigenous-owned consulting company focused on community development with rural, Native American, and other communities of color. Seven Sisters was founded in 2012 as a virtual company and is owned by five partners working remotely in different locations around the country. Our passion is serving communities and organizations (in face-to-face and virtual settings) in the areas of: training, curriculum development, meeting facilitation, strategic planning, technical assistance, coalition support, coaching, grant writing, and impact evaluation. We are a band of women who care deeply about the work we do and hold ourselves to the highest standards as we facilitate organizational growth and change.

Duties include

  • Google Suite file organization and maintenance (tracking potential projects, filing and monitoring contracts, and uploading work products)

  • Team meeting support, including scheduling, task management, and recording minutes

  • Administrative and technology support for our work with clients, as needed

  • Invoice review and coordination with accountant

  • Vendor management (subscriptions, services, virtual platforms, insurance.)

  • Other essential duties as assigned

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Google Suites

  • Competency with online and virtual communication platforms and tools (Example: Zoom, Microsoft Team, WebEx, Google Meet, etc.)

Preferred experience

  • Relevant work or educational experience

  • Experience working with or knowledge of Native American communities


Work schedule

  • We envision that this position will require approximately 25 - 40 hours/month. This is a part time position, with hours and schedule to be mutually determined, based on company activities and needs.
